TOP OF THE LINE SPORTS CAR, FEATURING AN AUTOMATIC OPENING AND CLOSING TOP!
For the perfect days with great weather, and quieter than a convertible. Arguably one of the best looking 911's produced in recent years. It's a much bigger car than previous years, but the Porsche 911 Targa 4S still carries the charm of the original. This Lava Orange exterior and black leather interior with deviated thread front and rear throughout is a unique combination. Including the 7-speed Porsche transmission featuring both a manual and an automatic mode, this Porsche has less than 10,700 actual miles, making it still like new. Services are current and it is ready for you to enjoy.
In its seventh generation, the Porsche 911 maintains its iconic shape, even if it has grown since the last generation. The lineup continues to offer a wide range of models, from the base Carrera on up to the Turbo S and GT3, each with its own character, and each a representation of what remains one of the best sports cars on the market.
For 2016, the 911 coupes and convertibles were joined by a Targa body style. Absent from the lineup for some time, the Targa has been given an upgrade to automatic opening and closing. Instead of requiring the driver to install and store the cloth roof section manually, the 2016 Targa's back half splits open in an elaborate orchestration of moving pieces to do the job. It's quite something to watch, and easily the most complex roof system available today. All Targa models are equipped with all-wheel drive, adding to their all-weather versatility and curve hugging capability.
A 3.8L horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine is tasked with pushing the 911 Targa 4S around and is good for 400 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Impressive 0-60 mph times which Porsche says flies by in just 4.4 seconds. We found this drivetrain to be incredibly easy to regulate without having to rely on the brakes too often.
