A PIECE OF VOLKSWAGEN HISTORY AVAILABLE WITH THIS 1961 BEETLE!
Crown Concepts, Tucson, AZ., is really excited to be able to add this very unique 1961 Volkswagen Beetle to its inventory. The original owner owned it until 2015, and we have just gotten it from the 2nd owner. And with less than 67,000 original miles, it is a true Classic "Think Small" 2 door Bug!
Here is a picture of updates that have been performed recently. 4 new B.F. Goodrich tires, new interior, with the seats removed, and all new floor mats, door panels, headliner, package tray under the dash, and they even did a recast on the original steering wheel. It looks and smells new. Also new shock absorbers. And the most unique thing about this "61" is that it as the original 6 volt system, which is hard to find in this day and age.
It has the 1192 c.c. engine, producing an efficient 34 horsepower, and is backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. It also comes with the original AM radio, bucket seats, and the coolness of an original Beetle. Doesn't get much better than this.
This car has been loved by multiple generations of basic transportation seekers across the world, and this particular one is in excellent condition, with the upgrades, and the care it has had over its lifetime.
